Description
My hubby and I experienced ocean wildlife at San Simeon, along the northern California coast. Young male Elephant Seals were sparring, as they practiced for claiming their future harems. It was as though a page in National Geographic came alive, right before our eyes, close up! The females and babies were molting. Unlike Harbor Seas, Elephant Seals have a variety of verbalizations .
